67. Go to Antelope Island
Ever heard of the island-turned-state-park in the middle of the Great Salt Lake home to buffalo and antelope? Peculiar.
Antelope Island State Park can be accessed a few miles north of Salt Lake City using a 7 mile causeway. It is open (and gorgeous) year-round, and all four seasons have something different to offer there. In the warmer months the hills teem with wildflowers, and the snow in the winter gives a beautiful backdrop to the animals. This is the only place in Utah that you can still see buffalo. Additionally, the island can be seen as quickly as you'd like, or a more thorough look around can be done in days or even weeks. There are campgrounds and plenty of trail mileage. This is a place that everyone can enjoy.
